Angela Bryan
Angela Bryan is a 16-year-old high school junior at Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA) and has been studying piano with Ms. Julia Hsiao, NCTM, since 2013. In her freshman year, Angela achieved a Gold Medal award in the University Scholastic League (UIL) for LASA High School, advancing to the final state round at UT/Austin.
Angela has earned numerous awards and honors in music competitions. She was awarded First Place in the Elite International Music Competition 2024 and has been invited to perform in the Winners Recital in New York City. She also received Second Place in the American Protege 2024 Romantic Music Competition. Additionally, Angela is a Silver Medalist in the American Association for Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT) “Passion of Music” competition, which earned her an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2023. Angela is also a Second Place winner in the American Fine Arts Festival (AFAF) Golden Era of Romantic Music.
In 2024, Angela earned two First Place awards in AADGT’s International Young Musicians Competitions: the “Passion of Music” and “Album Young Gifted Performers” categories. She also won two First Place awards in the Prima Volta International Music Competition, and in the Elite International Music Competition. In 2025 she won First Place in the Golden Classical Music Awards, as well as two Gold Medals from the AADGT International Competition.
