Audrey Cham

Audrey Cham, age 13, from Austin, Texas, began piano lessons at age 4. She is a Gold Medalist for the American Association for the Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT) International Young Musicians Festival "Passion of Music" (2024, 2023, 2021), 3rd place winner for AADGT “Passion of Music” (2022), first place winner for American Fine Arts Festival (AFAF) International Competition (2021, 2020), second place winner in duet for American Protégé International Romantic Music Competition (2022, 2020), second place winner in solo for American Protégé International Romantic Music Competition (2020), first place winner in solo and duet for American Protégé International Music Talent Competition Fall (2020), first place winner in solo for American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition (2023), first place winner in trio/six hands one piano for American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition (2023), first place winner in solo for United Stars Music Competition (2024).

Audrey took part in the Austin District Music Teachers Association festivals, earning superior honors and superior ratings. She has also earned gold and silver medals from participating in the Texas Music Teachers Association annual theory tests.

Audrey was invited by AADGT to perform at the Winners Recitals at Carnegie Hall in New York City on April 10th, 2022. She was invited by the president of AADGT, Ms. Elena Rossman, to participate at the Burgos International Music Festival in Spain in July 2022 with scholarship. She is also invited and recommended by the AADGT Jury to attend two prestigious Music Festivals in Europe in the summer of 2023 with scholarship. Audrey is also selected to be featured in the 2024 United Stars Music Competition Showcase and is the Grand Winner

She continues to share her joy of playing piano with seniors at retirement homes by performing monthly in various locations. Besides playing the piano, Audrey is also in the dance team and choir in school.
