Lucas Xu

Lucas Xu is a 9th grader from Austin, Texas. Born in Sydney, Australia, he started his piano journey at the age of 6 in Seattle, Washington. When he moved from Seattle to Austin, Lucas continued piano with Ms. Julia. His accomplishments include, winning a Silver Medal in AADGT international young musicians’ competition (duet) in 2024, winning 2nd Place in America Protégé music talent competition in 2024, and receiving several superior awards in Pop, Jazz, and Rock ADMTA festivals. Lucas has also received gold medals in all his TMTA theory tests. Besides piano, Lucas enjoys playing tennis and building LEGOs in his free time.
