Samuel Hana

Samuel Hana is a 15 year old 8th grader born and raised in Austin, Texas. He began playing piano at the age of 7 and studied music under Julia Hsiao. He has participated and received multiple superior plus ratings in ADMTA (Austin District Music Teachers Association) for Baroque-Classical and Romantic-Contemporary Festivals and has received gold medals since 2020 from the TMTA (Texas Music Teachers Association) Theory Tests. In addition, he is a 2nd place duet winner for American Protégé Piano Duo Four Hands (2021), a 3rd place solo winner for American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition (2024), a 2nd place solo winner for AADGT Passion for Music (2024), and a 2nd place duet winner for AADGT Passion for Music (2024). Recently, he has won a gold medal for the AADGT Passion for Music 2025 25th Anniversary Competition and was invited to play at Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama, Japan.
